This position will operate on a remote , freelance basis. Are you a Gaming Hardware Enthusiast with a background in writing? Valnet Inc. is looking for a Feature Writer to cover Gaming for the website . This includes how-to guides covering various gaming consoles - specifically the PS5, the Xbox Series XS, and the Nintendo Switch. Only a small amount of output can be dedicated to lists of individual games as MUO is not a traditional gaming site. About Us MUO is one of the largest technology publications on the web today. We aim to equip all readers, whether they’re newcomers to tech or seasoned veterans, with the tools they need to make the most of their technology. We simplify complex topics into guides that anyone can understand, whether they’re looking for a list of great apps, need help fixing an issue, or want a product recommendation. Every article leaves the reader with something valuable to take away. Our Gaming vertical teaches people how to fix, use, or do unique things with their gaming apps, consoles, and services: How to Change Your Play Station Username on PS4, PS5, and the Web , How to Share PS5 Screenshots and Gameplay Videos to Your Phone , and 9 Ways to Fix Joy-Con Drift on Your Nintendo Switch. Job Responsibilities Write a minimum of 8 feature articles per month , with no upper limit Generate and pitch new ideas/topics for articles Stay up to date on the latest Gaming tech news, products and updates Application Requirements CV Cover Letter 2-3 articles you've written that demonstrate your writing abilities; tech articles a plus Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements Relevant experience in writing and editing in the English language Ability to breakdown complex topics Expert knowledge on all things Gaming Technology (with specific expertise in one or a few of the following consoles: PS5, Xbox Series XS, and Nintendo Switch) The ability to break down complex topics We provide our contributors.
