Description:
Position Objective: To plan and manage select fundraising and other events for the organization Key responsibilities and Duties: Manage and attend select cultivation, retention, and solicitation events for PETA members and supporters Ensure that events are kept on schedule and deadlines are met Negotiate with event vendors to ensure the best possible value for the organization Strategize ways to improve PETAs fundraising events, and assess the need for additional events Establish and maintain strong communication and relationships with PETA donors and at all levels of the organization Liaise with other development staff on data selects for fundraising events Recruit and manage volunteers for events Organize appropriate literature and campaign-focused content for events Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor
