Their comprehensive physical therapy services focus on, among other areas, orthopedics, joint pain, post-op recovery, spinal injuries, sports injuries, sports performance, prevention, and wellness. Their large, state-of-the-art facilities house a wellness center, aquatic therapy pool, exercise classrooms, and more. They are PT-owned and currently employ 7 talented physical therapists; they are seeking multiple providers due to expansion and increased patient demand. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Physical therapists typically see between 12 and 14 patients per day. This number is adjusted based upon patient need, anticipated length of appointment, etc. Clinical assistants (PTAs and technicians) are available to assist when needed.Patient demographics are diverse - all ages, variety of diagnoses, pre-operative, post-operative, acute injuries, chronic injuries, workplace injuries, sports injuries, athletic treatments, patient education, and more. The practice sees approximately 30-40% Medicare and 30% workers compensation, with the rest being a mix of Medicaid and major payors.Therapy services include, but are not limited to:- manual therapy- exercise prescription- dry needling- kinesiotaping- aquatic therapy- SASTM- vertigo treatment- and much moreThe practice also contracts with various sports teams, offering dynamic and interesting work outside of the office for those employees who are interested.
