The Westchester Hispanic Coalition (WHC) is a non-profit, community-based organization located in White Plains, New York. Founded in 1974, the WHC is dedicated to improving the overall welfare of the community by providing opportunities for advancement and strengthening leadership. We are looking for an energetic, hard-working and bi-lingual (Spanish & English) Immigration Attorney to join our efforts. The immigration attorney will represent clients with affirmative applications including family based petitions, motions, waivers, TPS, Asylum, NACARA, VAWA, U Visas, T Visas, Naturalization, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and related services. The attorney will be supervised by the WHC's current immigration attorney and will advise and represent clients before USCISThe attorney must possess a min of 1-two years background in family-based immigration as well as membership in good standing of the New York State Bar. The successful applicant must be hard-working, organized, detail-oriented, able to balance working independently with being a member of a team of dedicated professionals, and possess effective communication abilities. Excellent oral and written correspondence skills in English and Spanish required.
