You can establish rapport with our Elders? Enjoy providing support and direction to at risk clients. Come join our team as a: Front-Line Support Worker (Part time) Elder's Place Supportive Housing SCOPE OF POSITION Establish and maintain safe and clean environment of the facility. Overseeing the day to day operations of the facility. Provide and be available for client communications. One-on-one support and group facilitation of sharing information. Advocate and/or mediate on behalf of clients. Provide input to staff members regarding client needs. Information referral and receipt from co-workers, life skills, caseworker, etc. Liaise with other agencies to provide fluent transitions. Participate in Case Management to assist clients to transition to independence. Be available to work all shifts in 24-hour facility. QUALIFICATIONS Grade 12. Certification: First Aid, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (NVCI, CPI) Suicide Intervention, and Food Safe; or the willingness to obtain after hire.
