Food Service staff required for seniors' living facility If you are searching for a position in a dependable field with one of the most dynamic employers in Southern Alberta, keep reading. We are looking for a team-oriented person who has a flexible, willing, and positive attitude to help with food services at one of our facilities. A current satisfactory criminal record check is required. Food Safe Certification, First Aid Certification and WHMIS Training is an asset. About the position: The position offers an average of 19 hours per week over a 6-week cycle, but more shifts may be offered based on availability. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts to cover in this position are: 10:30am-6:30pm, 3pm-8pm, and 12pm-8pm Basic Responsibilities of the position include: Preparing the dining room for meal service and setting tables Assisting cooks with kitchen duties and food preparation Serving meals Cleaning duties, including cleaning the dining room after each meal Stocking kitchenettes Assisting residents with medications In return you will enjoy: Competitive wages Regular scheduled shifts The option to pick up extra shifts The potential for long term employment If you have experience working with seniors and/or serving food, please apply!
