We are seeking an experienced customer service/sales representative to serve our members promptly and professionally while conducting monetary transactions. Essential Functions: Greet customers and welcome them to PDCU Process transactions for members accurately and quickly while meeting regulatory compliance requirements Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies. Identify how to make financial services more convenient for members by finding the right solutions for members and recommending additional products and services and special promotions. Job Requirements High School graduate or equivalent, some college preferred. Must pass the Sr. Member Service Representative test. Previous experience as Member Service Representative and Teller is required. Experience in handling money and negotiable instruments Excellent knowledge of credit union products and services Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and provide solutions using good judgement. Demonstrated speed. Accuracy, and confidentiality in processing work. Strong member/employee service orientation, with a passion for delivering superior service/results. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. The employee in this position must be capable of effectively handling stress, multiple concurrent tasks and constant interruptions. Good organization and time management skills. Tech savvy with good working knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software, use of the Internet and the ability to learn internal use software. Excellent collaborative skills to work cross functionally with various departments/branches and operational areas. Must have positive working relationships with others in the organization in order to achieve goals and objectives.
