After opening in early 2022, it's a one: of: a: kind new generation category C new build Prison for the future; The vision for HMP Five Wells is to set a gold standard for new build prisons of the future, using forward: thinking design and technology. Care and Rehabilitation Services (Ca RS) successfully manages 4 prisons, one secure training centre and a number of community contracts in England and Wales. The philosophy of our prisons is to rehabilitate offenders and equip them to re: integrate into mainstream society on release. We seek to normalise prison conditions as far as possible to reflect life in the outside community. Our aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe. We are looking for dedicated a First Line Manager (FLM) to join our Offender Management team. You may already have FLM experience within a custodial environment and are seeking a new challenge or you may currently hold the position of Prison (Custody) Officer and are ready for the next step in your career. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective delivery of offender management procedures and assist in linking all aspects of the custodial process and ensuring effective communication to all relevant parties. Key Responsibilities : To assist in the achievement of Key Performance Targets and milestones with regard to Offender Management including OASys, Offender Management procedures, Lifers/IPP work, HDC, ROTL and Parole. Delegated authority from the Senior Operational Manager and Head of Offender Management for day: to: day responsibility. : To work alongside Probation colleagues in joint targets especially.
