We are currently seeking a qualified applicant for an excellent career opportunity as an Assurance Senior in our Financial Services Office. Responsibilities Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess clients' satisfaction. Proactively maintain contact with the client throughout the year. Direct fieldwork daily, inform supervisors of the engagement status, and manage staff performance. Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations. Develop people through effectively delegating tasks and providing guidance to staff. Provide performance feedback and training, and conduct performance reviews. Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work atmosphere. Contribute ideas/opinions to the audit teams and listen/respond to other teammates' views. Demonstrate willingness and expertise to participate in advisory related engagements, as required. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with teammates, and enhance service delivery. Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills. Develop an understanding of Ernst & Young's service lines and actively seek/encourage teammates to contribute ideas and identify opportunities to apply the firm's services. Demonstrate willingness and expertise to travel outside your work location to designated client engagements. It is therefore essential that all professional staff possess a valid driver's license in the US and/or is in the process of obtaining one. Access to adequate transportation is needed in all locations. Requirements: To qualify, applicants must have: • a bachelor's degree and approx two years of related work background; or a graduate degree and approx 1-2yrs of related work background • a degree in accounting, business or finance • a min of 1yr of background working as an auditor for a public accounting firm • deep background serving clients in the insurance industry which may include life, health, property and casualty, reinsurance, or similar institutions • US CPA certification or must be actively preparing to pass the US CPA examination • background participating in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building • excellent project organizational skills • advanced written and oral communication expertise • a dedication to teamwork and leadership • integrity within a professional environment Requisition #: RIC0005N
