Do you want to be in a role that provides great prospects for personal development? You will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of areas within our Finance service We are looking for 2 Finance professionals to work as part of an established team and be key finance contacts for our budget managers. These roles will be based in the Client Team providing support to one of our Client Councils in undertaking robust financial monitoring and forecasting. Typical duties: Support in the delivery of effective financial analysis, financial monitoring and business service support to the Clients and Company. Contribute and prepare for timely closure of year end financial accounts, and ensure adherence to the closedown timetable, financial controls and procedures Contribute to the annual budget setting process and year end closedown processes for specific service areas What we need from you: AAT Fully Qualified Confident use of Microsoft Office to produce robust and detailed information for our Clients, and to support the in year budget monitoring and forecasting process Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve and work to deadlines Ability to work as part of a team and excellent communication skills with key stakeholders We offer great benefits including: Local Government Pension Scheme, 23.1 employer contribution 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and the option to purchase up to 5 days extra Get your birthday off Agile working policy: Minimum of 2 days working in the office per week Employee Assistance Programme Employee Benefits Platform including retail, holiday,.
