A highly successful employer are seeking to hire an Accounts Assistant to ensure that all accounting transactions are recorded accurately and on a timely basis, supporting the Financial Controller. In greater detail you will take ownership of the following for 2 business units within the organisation: : Daily logging of bank movements and uploading sales invoicing files : Reconciliation of the bank account and matching cash movements : Credit Control : Month end Accruals and Prepayments : Month end variance analysis : Reconciling and making internal 'netting off' payments : Preparing invoices : Verify collected amounts via Direct Debit : Support the preparation of month end accounts : Become the 'finance point of reference' for queries for both business units The applicant must be highly IT literate in both finance systems, ideally Sage and Excel with functionality to pivot table and look up level. AAT training would be beneficial but you will need to have practical experience of bookkeeping. The role will have hybrid flex after becoming established and has excellent benefits.
