Find out more at www.itape.com/careers .The Field Service Safety Specialist is responsible for establishing, promoting, and maintaining safety standards, processes, communications, training, and OSHA compliance programs for Field Service. This position will implement safety procedures and monitor their effectiveness with the goal of keeping everyone in their work environment safe from danger. They will set standards that ensure safety processes follow government rules and regulations for safe workplaces. They will also perform inspections and write reports on the safety of a workplace or work site. This position will work closely with Corporate Safety, Human Resources, Management, and Service personnel to drive safety loss and control programs.Principle Accountabilities include but are not limited to:1. Maintain working knowledge of existing and proposed OSHA regulations.2. Lead safety incident investigations and apply root cause analysis process to establish corrective actions. Ensure identified actions are completed.3. Develop and lead site safety audits, collect data, and administer training based on trends.4. Work with Supervision and Management personnel to respond to Customer safety concerns regarding IPG employees and/or evaluate and address IPG employee safety concerns at Customer sites.5. Maintain working knowledge of Customer safety and training requirements for IPG employees.6. Maintain OSHA 300 Log and report department performance against company-wide safety goals.7. Develop and lead orientation and safety training programs for new employees, existing employees, and temporary employees.8. Develop safety procedure components for Work Instructions and other tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Hazard Mapping.9. Conduct monthly safety training program and report on completion status. Recommend additional course content as legal requirements or job requirements change. Develop training curriculum for existing and new safety programs.11. Coordinate safety start-up review and approval of new or modified procedures and/or equipment through Process Hazard Analysis and recommend best practice work procedures to control occupational hazards.12. Maintain and update safety information databases including safety/near-miss observations. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
