Family Support Worker - Wirral Are you a passionate, dedicated Family Support Worker looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Family Support Worker to join a Children’s Services team based in Wirral. Umbrella Rate: £13.03 per hour Duration: 18/12/2023 – 3 months initially Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, 36 hrs/week Family Support Worker role: Full JD Available Direct work with children, young people and families, this may mean daily contact in the family home or community venues Manager a caseload Undertake backssments and observations of family situations Plan, deliver and review individual programmes of support, ensuring better outcomes Provide a range of evidence-based interventions which support children, young people and families across the 0-19 age continuum Deliver and facilitate groups Facilitate supervised contact where deemed appropriate to the needs of the service, child and family Engage with families to support them to meet the needs of their children Work in partnership across Children’s Services and with other agencies to deliver support and prevent family breakdown When appropriate, make decisions as Lead professional in regards to support options to address complex issues/cases Be actively involved and consult with children and families when planning and carrying out work Develop strong, trusting working relationships Attend meetings, conferences and reviews where necessary Attend court as a witness where necessary Accurately record and maintain clear case management and other records Prepare and write reports Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Health and Social Care or Early Education Experience backssing family situations, developing individual packages of support Experience of directly working with young people aged 0-19 yearinteractionperience of managing complex cases and workloadinteractioncellent written and verbal communication skills You Must Have Right to Live & Work in the UKEnhanced Child.
