London Borough of Tower Hamlets is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Family Support and Protection Service. This is a Locum Social Work role. The Ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience of being part of a long term team, working with children in need, children on child protection plans and with children who are subject to court proceedings. Conduct statutory work with children who are subject to Child In Need plans, Child Protection Plans or children who are Looked After up to the point that permanency plans are put in place. Carry out statutory visits, monitor and backss children’s safety and welfare and act promptly on any concerns.
