We are a Bible-teaching, Bible-believing, Christ-centered, non-denominational church with a family atmosphere. In 2020, we had 200 people who called New Beginnings their church home. Today, we have over 1500. We're excited about the explosive growth that God has brought and look forward to what He's planning for our future. REQUIREMENTS The Bible sets a high standard for ministry leadership. It has nothing to do with being perfect, but its a calling that requires time, passion, humility, flexibility, availability and focus. In support of the Biblical standards for ministry leadership, New Beginnings Church (NBC) has set the following requirements for all staff members: Accept, by faith, the divinity and lordship of Jesus Christ and symbolically acknowledge that faith through water baptism (Rom 10:9, Matt 28:19). Complete the PLUGGING IN workshop and sign the NBC partnership covenant within 6 months of joining staff (Phil 1:6, Eph 4:16). Pursue a growing and transforming relationship with God (Matt 22:37). Maintain a character that is above reproach in the areas of personal morality, sexual purity, family management, financial management and relational trust (1 Tim 3:1-13 & Titus 1:6-9). Stand unified on NBCs beliefs, vision and ministry strategy (1 Cor 1:10). Submit to the spiritual authority of the Elder Board & Senior Pastor (Heb 13:17; 1 Thes 5:12-13; 1 Tim 5:17). Give faithfully and cheerfully, with tithes and offerings, to Gods work at NBC (Mal 3:10; 2 Cor 9:7). Play an active role in praying for, serving and supporting the people in our church family, our community, and the world (John 17; John 13:1-17). Regularly attend weekend church services and key church-wide events (Heb 10:24-25). Demonstrate the integrity and emotional stability to effectively deal with confidential information (Prov 11:13). Receive, if married, spousal support in the decision to accept a position in ministry (Eph 5). RESPONSIBILITIES Support the Senior Pastor in his role in leading the church. Oversee and be the single point of contact for all kids & youth ministries (0-8th grade) at NBC. Recruit, guide, manage, support and appreciate a team of motivated and enthusiastic kids & youth volunteers. Prepare and implement an inspirational, Biblical-based discipleship plan for all volunteers in your area. Manage paid kids ministry staff. Attend the 1st hour church service with family. Be the primary teacher/leader for kids church during 2nd and 3rd service. Train & prepare the staff member leading the kid's church during 1st service. Lead the middle school youth group on Wednesday nights. Lead all kids camps, sports activities, and special conferences. Deliver appropriate information to elders, staff members, ministry leaders, partners, and attenders in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all social media and website information about kids/youth ministries is timely and accurate. Attend the weekly NBC staff meeting.
