Environmental Engineer (Sheffield) Reference: BY1174 Salary: GBP24,000 : GBP30,000 This industry leading and nationwide ground investigation, remediation and contaminated land company are seeking an enthusiastic and independent Environmental Engineer to join their team on a variety of site: based projects across the UK. With a team of specialists and a huge range of contaminated land projects to work on, youll be provided with the resources and opportunities to develop your career in an environmental conscious role. This Environmental Engineer position offers: A competitive salary (GBP24,000 to GBP30,000). Supported career progression. 25 days holiday with progression to 30 over time. Company car and fuel card. Healthcare scheme. Overnight stays fully paid for, with allowance included. This Environmental Engineer selected will be: Providing technical support and management of remediation schemes. Writing technical reports. Carrying out environmental risk backssments. Liaising with clients, suppliers and regulators. Deploying Environmental Permits and Validation reports. Carrying out Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations. Undertake environmental monitoring and sampling. As a result this Environmental Engineer role requires a degree in an environmental/geology/engineering based subject, a willingness to travel around the UK and live away during projects, a full UK driving licence and (preferably) experience in a remediation, environmental and/or brownfield based role.
