Job Description: Conceptualize and own the data architecture for multiple large-scale projects across data science & artificial intelligence, analytics, and automation while evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs within systems across different partnered business areas Solve challenging data integration problems for complicated sourcing / merging from structured and unstructured data sources and diverse data sets, utilizing and coding optimal frameworks, query techniques in support of data science projects. Implement and optimize data pipelines, data quality metrics, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts Collaborate with engineers, business managers, and data scientists from different business areas to understand complex data needs and provide key data insights in meaningful ways Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for ML real-time and batch deployments Design, build and maintain the ML CI/CD pipeline that automates data preparation, data analysis, experimentation, model training, model serving, monitoring and visualizations in production. Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and software engineers to develop processes, identify bottle necks, and create effective solutions Lead and encourage Data Engineering/DevOps/MLOps best practices and tool selection Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: Internal drive to expand your personal domain expertise and an insatiable curiosity about how to that expertise in collaboration with other team members to mitigate financial risk. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication and collaboration skills Working knowledge of ML concepts, including data preparation and visualization, with experience in ML model development (including training and prediction), deployment, and management Comprehensive understanding in computer programming, including python Experience in the Information Technology field focusing on AI/ML engineering projects, DevOps, MLOps and technical architecture specifically. Strong architecture & design experience, including experience deploying production enterprise applications in Azure that use AI/ML. Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (within 6 months of hire) Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, computer science, operations research, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent work experience is required. PhD preferred.
