Located just an hour from the urban amenities of Dallas, this area offers lakefront living at its best!Qualified candidates must be board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or ABOEM) with emergency medicine experience. UT Health North is one of 10 facilities that comprise UT Health East Texas (UTHET): Comprised of 10 hospitals More than 50 physician clinics 13 regional rehabilitation facilities 2 free standing emergency centers Home health services covering 41 counties EMS fleet of more than 45 ambulances and 4 helicopters Comprehensive 7 trauma center care network Level 1 trauma center Partnership with the University of Texas system, providing patients access to leading-edge research and clinical therapies Facility Highlights: Certified Level IV trauma center by the state of Texas 11,242 annual visits, patients per hour: 1.34 24 hours of physician coverage with 12-hour shifts Laboratory and imaging services on-site with advanced imaging available EPIC EMR 10 inpatient rooms, 2 trauma rooms, and an isolation room Ability to transfer to close by UT Health Tyler Level 1 trauma center, if needed Total hospital beds: 130 Interested in learning more?
