The role Fugro’s Systems Department based at our office in Wallingford are seeking an Electronics/Instrument Engineer to join the team. The team specialise in monitoring, measuring, and providing advice on renewables and oil and gas infrastructure projects in Europe and Africa. As an Electronics/Instrument Engineer, you will need to have a fundamental understanding of computer architecture operating systems and networking principles. A knowledge of electronic and electrical principles is also essential as well as a good knowledge of oceanography. The successful candidate, after training, will be expected to take a lead on site visits, with responsibility for planning operations as well as health and safety where you will also act as a liaison.
