The Nuclear Services Design Engineering Department provides design and troubleshooting services for various tools used in the maintenance, inspection and refurbishment of nuclear power plants. We also provided periodical on-site support during the execution of work. We are a dynamic group where the nature of the work is always changing and no two days are ever the same. JOB PURPOSE Design software/computer hardware for use in nuclear services field work. Troubleshoot electronic issues with inspection and maintenance tools. JOB STRUCTURE AND COMMUNICATIONS This job reports to the Nuclear Services Design Engineering Manager. The incumbent interfaces heavily with nuclear services Project Engineers, Component Project Engineers, Field Technicians and Boilermakers. Works with fabrication vendors. ACCOUNTABILITIES Design software for field services work Obtain design requirements from customer documentation or input from other team members to ensure the software/hardware functions as intended.
