Marie, ON , as an Electrical Engineering Co-op , you will: Assist in the preparation of engineering designs and work orders for capital works, system extensions, maintenance, operations, or replacement Assist with development and review for drawings and specifications for construction to meet regulatory requirements of Ontario Regulation 22/04 Ensure work is in compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation such as the Ontario Energy Board, IESO, and Regulations 22/04 Assist with the preparation of contracts for tender as well as supporting contractor management duties Provide technical support pertaining to electric distribution systems including: the establishment and maintenance of distribution standards, SCADA, protection and control, substations, system coordination, and line design Assist in the planning and design for long term sustainability and reliability of the electric distribution system Research company records to verify infrastructure details Assist with assembling and analyzing budgets and project costs Assist with verifying bills of materials and monitoring the availability of materials and recommending appropriate new materials and equipment as required Contribute to innovative solutions towards technological advancements for our customers Provide quality services to our customers in a safe and efficient manner Contribute to leveraging technology to digitize.
