4373BRJob Title Electrical and Material Failure Analysis EngineerLocation DearbornState MichiganCompany Ford Motor CompanyJob Description & Qualifications Position Duties: * Good knowledge of electrical and electronic materials * Experience and analytical skill with respect to issue identification and solutions * Experience with lab instruments, e.g. microscope, oscilloscope, etc. * Good communication skill and multi-tasking capability * Highly motivated and efficient in issue resolution * Can work in a high pressure and short notice environmentMinimum Requirements: * BS in materials science, engineering, applied physics or chemistry (in the field of smart materials) * Knowledge of and some experience with common analytical instruments, e.g., scanning electron microscope, x-ray instruments.Preferred Qualifications: * MS or Higher in materials science, engineering, applied physics or chemistry (in the field of smart materials) * Minor in electrical engineering and some knowledge of fracture mechanics are a plus. * Knowledge of organic/polymer materials.At Ford Motor Company, we are dedicated to designing, manufacturing and selling high quality vehicles that meet the diverse needs of our customers.
