Summary Are you an experienced Roller Operator looking for a new challenge? Are you wanting to be part of a team that values your contributions and can provide continuous opportunities for growth? E Construction is now hiring an experienced Roller Operator for our Cold Lake, AB region for the upcoming 2024 Construction Season! The role of Finish Roller Operator will operate the Roller in a safe and efficient manner, while will playing an important role in our road building process by compressing and finishing the Asphalt application by smoothing and cooling the asphalt. Key Responsibilities Operate the rollers and other heavy equipment in a safe manner. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Determine the speed and direction of the machines so that ridges do not form from excessive pressure. Use hand roller or portable power roller to pound surfaces not accessible to road roller. Operator self-propelled steel-wheeled or other types of rollers. Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Roller. Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company's Code of Ethics. Other quality control related duties as required. Qualifications Requirements High School Diploma or G. E. D. preferred. Class 5 Driver's License. Minimum of 2 years' experience within the road construction industry. 2 - 3 years experience operating a Roller, Finish Roller. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
