A Day in the Life of a Drywaller/Painter A day in the life of a Drywaller/Painter at First Onsite is a blend of precision, craftsmanship, problem-solving and team playing. With precision, your day starts with measuring and meticulously cutting drywall sheets, ensuring a perfect fit for every space or replacement. You'll expertly tear out old or damaged drywall, paving the way for new beginnings. Handling metal corner beads with finesse, you'll safeguard exterior corners before flawlessly filling joints, holes, and cracks, wielding your trowel and broad knife like a pro. Seamlessly taping and embedding joints, you'll bring cohesion to every surface. Your expertise extends to texturing of all varieties, adding that final touch of character to spaces. You love what you do and it shows! Additional Requirements Minimum 1 year of drywall and painting experience. Courses or certifications from trade schools or equivalent experience. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, buildings, or other structures Ability to pass a background check Valid drivers' license Availability for scheduled on-call and after-hour shifts Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces) Are you able to work independently?
