DoD Skillsbridge Fellowship - Space Force

If you are passionate about kick starting your career working for a market leader and are a separating service member, this is the ideal opportunity for you! We are offering a unique internship via Skillbridge. This is a 180-day program from start to finish. During your time in the program, you can take up to three different career tracks and work towards a certification in each. The first track is Account Executive/Sales where you will take the NCSR Level 1 and 2 course and certification. The second track is Systems Engineering where you will take a series of courses that lead to the NCA certification. The final track is the Systems Reliability Engineer where you will eventually take the NCS certification. Both the Sales and System Engineer positions are remote positions, but the Systems Reliability Engineer position is Raleigh Durham based. More information on Nutanix Certification. Click Here Job Summary As a Skillbridge fellow your primary goal will be to consume the training for your desired track, study for and pass each certification. Your secondary goal will be to imbed yourself with your assigned DOD Team. As a separating service member, we will ideally align you with the team supporting your service branch, but you may support others. Responsibilities: Complete online course in each career track Study for and pass certification exams Attend team meetings, shadow Account Executives, Systems Engineers and Systems Reliability Engineer and imbed with the DOD to which you are assigned Present technical solutions to Nutanix Leadership in mock customer meetings Work on various special projects to assist the DOD team to which you are assigned Minimum Qualifications: Be driven and self-motivated Strong desire to develop a career in Federal Sales, Systems Engineering or Systems Reliability Engineer. Have a willingness to learn and a technical aptitude Have excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills Prioritization skills and high attention to detail General understanding of Information Technology, storage and servers Working towards a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the military Preferred Qualifications: General understanding of Information Technology, storage and servers Understanding of DOD Agencies and how IT operates in each Experience with Microsoft Outlook Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM About us Founded in 2009 and headquartered in San Jose, California, Nutanix is a passionate team of 6000+ employees worldwide.
