Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Utility Design Specialist with expertise in electrical utility infrastructure and joint use make-ready designs. Our team consists of highly specialized electrical & communication, grid modernization, and electrification engineers and technologists focused on supporting electric utilities with the deployment of emerging technologies for smart grid projects across the electric sector. This challenging position involves working as part of a highly specialized team focused on planning and design of electrical, automation, protection, and communications systems for electric utility across North America. The position will have a particular near-term focus to support Ontario utilities with the review and deployment of Joint Use (JU) Internet Service Providers (ISP) designs on shared transmission and distribution infrastructure.
