Title: Director Surgical Services NSMCLocation: United States-Colorado-Thornton-North Suburban Medical CenterOther Locations: nullThe Surgical Services Director provides leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided for patients. Assignments include management of growth, finance, quality, human resource, ethical and operational functions of the department. Maintains 24 hour accountability for all operational aspects of the department.Job qualifications:A. Licensure/Certification/Registration:Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado.Current BCLS certification. B. Education:Graduate of an accredited institution of nursing.Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelors Degree in health related position required. If not present at time of hire, must be complete within 2 yrs of hire date.Masters in Nursing or related position preferred. C. Background:Min of 5yrs relevant clinical background required.Previous managerial background required.
