Our services include Housekeeping, Public Area Cleaning, Overnight Deep Kitchen Cleaning, Stewarding and Exterior High Rise Window and Chandelier cleaning.All of our customers are nationally established well known hotels, casinos, vacation ownership resorts and malls. Due to our rapid growth and expansion we are seeking high-quality individuals for the position of:Director of HousekeepingSummary of Job:Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the hotel housekeeping department in a 1000 plus room hotel, casino-hotel or large vacation ownership resort. Must have hospitality housekeeping managerial experience. No exceptions.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for the overall management of the entire housekeeping department to include room turn times, customer service scores and profitability.Manages a base of up to 150 employees.Key interface between client property senior management and The Service Companies Senior Management.Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.Publically recognizes and rewards employees.Smiles and is friendly when interacting with co-workers, guests and property employees.Follows and teaches all required safety and standard operating procedures.Adheres to all company and regulatory policies. Reports any wrongdoing to corporate headquarters in Miami, Florida.Works weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and long hours.Acts as a role model to other Service Company employees.Requirements: High-school education or GED. 5 Years prior housekeeping management background in a hotel with 500 rooms or large vacation ownership resort. Must act with a sense of urgency. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must meet company and clients appearance standards Expertise to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals Expertise to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation. Expertise to motivate and respect hourly employees. Knowledge of e-mail, MS-Microsoft word.
