SPECTRUM SUPPORT, INC. IS HIRING FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME AVAILABLE Direct Support Professionals For our Day and Community Development Services located in Cumberland, Maryland. Do you have a passion to empower people with differing abilities to lead self-directed lives? Spectrum Support is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit agency helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, learn, work, and play in supportive communities.The Direct Support Professional will: Provide opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to participate in community events, employment, educational classes, or other activities of personal interest. Assure the health, safety, and medical needs of the individual(s) are met at all times. Candidate requires: HS diploma or equivalent ; A valid Maryland Driver's License with no more than 2 points. Must be self-motivated, creative and innovative in approach to providing supports that promote independence, choice and self-determination. Ability to be a team player and respond to changes and/or crisis in a calm and productive manner. Demonstrate ability in providing support in a respectful manner that meets the various needs of persons served. DDA trainings, First Aid, CPR a plus. Trainings will be provided. Must pass drug screen, criminal background/LEIE check. Job Type: Full-time and Part-time
