One Vision is seeking to hire Full- Time, Direct Support Professional (DSP) for new 12-hour shift schedule model. We are excited to bring new schedule model to support work life balance for our team members that support homes in Clear Lake, Iowa . Our new schedule model allows 3-day work weeks and more scheduled days off, ability to plan for vacations because the schedule is consistent and working fewer days and still have full time benefits. Typical schedule could look like 3-day work week Sun/Mon/Tues or work week Thru/Fri/Sat with hours beginning and ending between 5-7a, based on the needs of the home. Benefits of working with us! As a Direct Support Professional, you support individuals with daily living skills including housekeeping, laundry, cooking, hygiene, and self-administration of medications. Because of the safety training One Vision provides, you can ensure safety in the home. While supporting people with disabilities, you learn their individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, and likes and dislikes. You encourage community engagement by driving the individuals you support to appointments and leisure activities in addition to supporting them with finances and grocery shopping. You will love being able to make a direct impact on the life of each person you support by helping them realize their goals and introducing them to new opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or GED Basic computer skills needed to complete documentation Current driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to use equipment to lift people that cannot lift themselves Ability to lift and transfer individuals Ability to pass a drug test Valid driver's license ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
