Job Title: Digital Engineering SME Location : Eglin AFB, FL Closing Date : April 30, 2023 Canvas, Inc. provides services to a diverse group of customers in the areas of Test and Evaluation, Engineering Services, Program & Acquisition Management, and Product Integration. We are currently seeking a full-time Digital Engineering SME to join our team. Job Description : Canvas Inc. is seeking a Digital Engineering Subject Matter Expert! In this role, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to providing advice and assistance to support Digital Engineering (DE) tasks and activities associated with, program/project management tasks, conduct analyses, assist in acquisition strategy analysis and planning, assist in developing the Test and Evaluation Master Plan. Assist in milestone planning, tracking, and scheduling, assist in review of program direction and guidance, participate in TPWGs (as required). Assist in developing and analyzing key program metrics, assist with program briefings, assists in review of prime Contractor(s) and subcontractor performance, and assist in the development and analysis of Project Management processes. Act as a focal point for educating, training, and assisting test engineers and analysts in using and integrating DE tools and processes, facilitating document and model creation, developing and modeling test products, reviewing customer supplied plans and models, and identifying and implementing DE infrastructure requirements. Work with government and outside agencies establishing working relationships and information sharing. Develop workflows for test processes. Aid Test Engineers in creation and modification of products within the Digital Environment. Required Experience & Skills: Technical degree highly desired Experience working in vaulted facilities handling classified material. Must have a deep understanding of the different Model Based System Engineering products available. Must have ability to quickly understand the customers overall technical objectives and mission a provide effective solutions. Must be able to work independently and make spot recommendations based on Government requirements. Also, must be able to work effectively within a group. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines. This will require managing multiple project support tasks with minimal initial guidance. Must exemplify a dedication to achieving the mission of the 96TW as well as high standards of quality and excellence in performing the duties. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities. Must be willing to travel up to 5% Required Security Level: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance (TS/SCI clearance desired).
