Position Overview You’re a highly organized communications professional who’s passionate about immersing yourself in digital content best practices. Your problem-solving prowess allows you to identify and action opportunities for improving content management and audit processes, and you effortlessly engage others along the journey with your confident interpersonal skills. We need a driven self-starter with proven experience to take on our Digital Communications Specialist position. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting Fortis BC’s overarching digital communications strategy, including marketing campaigns and web experiences. This includes administrating digital content, such as email campaigns and blog posts, along with supporting digital processes like search engine optimization (SEO) and content audits. In this role, you will: Establish content and SEO audit processes, including success metrics and proposals for the tools that are required. Create web tactical plans for microsites as needed and participate in content management. Maintain internal content databases and processes and schedule and assist with regular SEO and content audits.
