Our Client is currently seeking skilled Diesel Maintenance Technicians. The purpose of this position is to accurately and efficiently maintain and repair diesel equipment to the highest standards for safe operation for their team. Job Details: - Scheduling: Monday - Friday, day shift possible nights and weekends as needed.- Compensation and Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, short-term disability, long-term disability 401K, paid time off, paid holidays- Advancement Opportunities: We strive to promote from within, cross-train, and develop our current workforce and travel opportunities provided. Roles and Responsibilities: - Accurately and Effectively Perform Preventative Maintenance (Oil/Hose/Fuel checks and changes, Hydraulic system knowledge)- Repair of Diesel Equipment performing scheduled and unscheduled repairs on equipment including yard trucks, forklifts, trailers, clamps, conveyors, excavators, front-end loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, and similar equipment.- Troubleshooting/Inspecting equipment and electrical components to determine the type of repair needed. Qualifications: - 3 years of experience working as a Diesel Maintenance Technician or similar with heavy equipment. - Background in preventative maintenance including oil/lube/brakes/hoses/hydraulics.- Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate effectively in English- Ability to obtain a TWIC card (for more information visit the TSA website on TWIC requirements) Other Details: - As a port employer our team is subject to working in all weather conditions including extreme heat and harsh winters. - All employees must pass a background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical and be able to obtain a valid TWIC card within a specified period of hire.PDN-9b726264-b412-492b-9c81-64819a6e8da8
