Dev Ops Engineer: Client in Brighton & Hove Location: Brighton & Hove, UK Salary Range: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum The Role: As a Dev Ops Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's infrastructure and operational landscape. This role is on-site, with potential for flexible working arrangements, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a team that values direct collaboration and in-person dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Implement, manage, and improve continuous delivery systems and methodologies on-premises and in the cloud. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test, and production environments. Work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Dev Ops role. Strong experience in Linux/Unix Administration and scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Ruby. Proficient with automation/configuration management using tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible. Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS. Knowledge of SQL/My SQL and familiarity with No SQL databases. Understanding of best practices in an always-up, always-available service.
