They are committed to nurturing young minds and fostering a supportive learning environment. The Role: Our client is seeking a skilled Deputy Manager to lead and inspire their team. This role involves nurturing a team, setting high childcare standards, and supporting the day-to-day nursery operations. Responsibilities: Lead by example, fostering a nurturing and respectful atmosphere. Provide guidance and support, including 16 hours per week coaching and mentoring. Maintain high standards of care and education, ensuring policy adherence. Foster strong parent partnerships. Oversee day-to-day operations and safeguarding. Assume full responsibility in the absence of the Nursery Manager. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Deputy Manager, Nursery Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation. Previous relevant supervisory experience. Proficiency in the EYFS and OFSTED standards. NNEB, CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or above qualification. Understanding of equal opportunities and SENCO. Strong people management skills.
