Never work a weekend again! We’re looking for a full-time, friendly dental assistant for our office. Your primary job will be to assist our orthodontist in serving our patients to ensure they leave our practice with a smile. Additional dental assisting responsibilities include preparing the work area and equipment for exams or procedures, patient education, sterilization, and maintaining clinic flow. Schedule is Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 5:15 pm with an hour lunch from 12:35 pm - 1:35 pm Employee benefits: • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are off• 401(k), 401(k) matching• Dental• Medical• Referral bonuses• Free or Discounted treatment for employee• Free or Discounted treatment for immediate family• Discounted treatment for extended family• Profit sharing• Paid time off• 5 paid Holidays• Free Extended Education through Pryor Learning• Performance Bonuses Responsibilities:• Your primary job will be to assist our orthodontist in serving our patients to ensure they leave our practice with a smile• Help patients continue their orthodontic care through arch-wire changes.• Aid orthodontist during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist• Give patients advice on a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile• Write down treatment information after every visit and ensure patient records include current dental histories• Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment area for examinations and dental procedures• Give each and every patient the best experience. Qualifications: • Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills• Ability to provide superb patient care and customer service• Basic data entry and computer skills• Previous experience in orthodontics or dental is required.
