With a strong commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we have been serving our merchants for 17 years and with a focus on continuous improvement, our family run business is seeking a dedicated and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team and lead our operations to new heights. As a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Operative, youll play a pivotal role in our operations, being responsible for the seamless transportation and delivery of items from our distribution centre to clients or businesses. Your role will encompass two primary responsibilities: Delivery Driver Responsibilities; Delivering approx. 10 : 15 drops per day on pre routed delivery schedule, averaging around 4:5 actual driving hours per day. Assigned your own van to keep clean, tidy, and maintained. Safe Transport: Safely load, transport, and deliver items from our warehouse to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and the secure transportation of goods. Order Verification: Review orders before and after delivery to guarantee completeness and accuracy. Navigation and Route Optimization: Utilize navigation tools, including Max Optra software, to determine the most efficient and secure routes to delivery points. Proof of Delivery: Ensure the collection of customer signatures as proof of successful delivery. Safety Compliance: Maintain vehicle safety by completing daily and weekly checks, reporting any incidents or issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with road safety standards.
