Salary Range: $76,250.00-$129,375.00 Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, education, skills, and experience as well as market demands. These factors impact the salary/wage offered. Purpose of Position The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for managing data quality in all application landscapes, from business applications to applications of insights and analytics. Additionally, this role will assist and support planning, evaluating, and selecting the right data quality capabilities for the enterprise. As part of a highly collaborative team, the role will interact with many technical and business resources across the enterprise. Tasks and Responsibilities Understand and implement analytic solutions to improve data quality and consistency and establish procedures and methodology to ensure data accuracy and consistency of use. Assist in developing new and improved data acquisition and analysis processes to improve the operational management of the business while collaborating with internal business functions and requirements. Develop and maintain a transparent and consistent data dictionary that documents technical processes and business rules. Use SQL and relational database systems to collect relevant data and manage large data sets Ensure the use of best practices in data quality and data management processes Collaborate with business analysts, database and BI developers in performing various data-focused activities Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in simple and complex data sets Apply statistical methods to data profiling to automate and continuously monitor data quality Ensure ongoing evaluation to identify opportunities for improvement to promote agility and high-quality service. Collect, document, present, and convey insights, evidence, and findings Work with Database and Business Intelligence developers in unit testing views and stored procedures Perform data validation and support report validation Scope and plan tasks and assess proper estimate of time and effort Stay current with the latest data processing and analysis technologies Exhibit accountability and responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of assigned work and results Prioritize and manage workload and communicate issues clearly Complete other tasks as required Travel when required Minimum Education Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience Minimum Experience 3+ years in a professional data analyst role, with experience in data quality and data analysis Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Experience in RDBMS (e.g., MSSQL) and client tool (SSMS), BI tool (Tableau or Power BI), and programming (T-SQL, C# or Java a plus) Knowledge of Statistics and experience using statistical packages (Excel, R, Python, SPSS, or SAS) Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy Possess the ability to whiteboard ideas, concepts, flow, or processes Adept at collecting data/info, documenting, and presenting findings Knowledge of SAP modules is a plus Knowledge/understanding of agile methodologies such as SCRUM Strong written and verbal communications skills Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met and/or encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
