Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer Location : El Segundo, CA Closing Date : 3/31/23 Canvas, Inc. provides services to a diverse group of customers in the areas of Test and Evaluation, Engineering Services, Program & Acquisition Management, and Product Integration. We are currently seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Engineer join our team. Job Description : Canvas, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer! In this role, you will provide direct Assessment & authorization support to the Information systems Security Manager (ISSM) for all directorate Mission Information Systems and provide Cybersecurity Analysis & Engineering support for the secure operations of enterprise networks, systems, and critical mission data. Required Experience & Skills : Develop, update, accomplish Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) entries and updates, coordinate and staff A&A packages in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework. Maintain, prepare, and distribute mission systems C&A schedules and package status reports. Register named mission systems in ITIPS formerly referred to as the Enterprise Information Technology Database Repository (EITDR) in compliance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). Review enterprise mission systems information assurance telecoms and eMASS database updates. Conduct research and analysis to assess security posture and impact of new systems, devices, and programs mandated by AF/USSF/Air Force Network Operations Center/DoD/Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)/Air Intelligence Agency (AIA). Monitor and maintain the Vulnerability Management System by entering all closed Technical Compliance Network Orders into the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) database and closing out network scan findings as identified by DIA, AIA Review security control implementation within the Test and Evaluation Management Plan (TEMP) and inputs for OT&E Plan in accordance with DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01 Conduct and documents Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) and physical security penetration tests on enterprise mission systems. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree requirements.) 3-10 years of experience Experience with eMASS Excellent and detail-oriented organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Advanced-level competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Clearance Level : Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance All applicants will receive an acknowledgement that their application has been received.
