An exciting role has become available with our clients in Derby for a full-time Customer Service Assistant. This role is ideally suited to individuals with a passion for providing exceptional customer service within the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for handling a large volume of calls and emails. Great communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask would further be of benefit for this Customer Service Advisor role when liaising with customers alongside using multiple systems and processes accurately. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service, efficiently and in line with our client's vision and values Support all customers in a professional, friendly manner Solve all customer queries whilst remaining calm and helpful Upsell additional services for our accommodation and internal events Build relationships with colleagues and share/encourage best practice Log all communications and interactions on a central booking system Skills and Attributes: Substantial Customer Service experience is not essential but would be advantageous; a customer focus is crucial Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to remain calm under pressure, to think quickly and independently The ability to follow predefined processes and structure questions A genuine motivation to want to problem solve to help other people Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and confidence with technology The ability to multiply task across different system platforms quickly and efficiently Good understanding of the terminology used in hospitality Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £NMW +50p per hour Benefits: Casual dress Employee discount Education: A-Level or equivalent (preferred) Experience: customer service: 1 year (preferred) If you feel you could be ideal for this role please apply today with your current CV and a member fo our team will be in touch as soon as possible.
