Crystal Growing Research & Development Process Engineer Eaton OH 82-107k + bonus Relo available {SICGRjls-ss} Our client company is the worlds largest provider of high purity custom silicon components and assemblies that serve a broad base of high technology markets. They currently have an opportunity for a Crystal Growing Research and Development Process Engineer. The position will be based in Eaton OH. Basic Function: Develops, optimizes, and sustains CZ Silicon growth processes and Hotzone. Responsible for continuous improvement of the Silicon growth process with emphasize on the development of new methods, processes, procedures, equipment, and infrastructure related to CZ crystal growth. Requirements and Education Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or expertise required. Requires is a min of a Masters Degree in Engineering, and min of six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and background. Requires is a min of three years of background in direct CZ crystal growth process development Requires detail knowledge of diameter measurement and control in a CZ furnace Requires knowledge of heat transfer in context of a CZ furnace, expertise to apply knowledge in HZ and process design requirements Requires detail knowledge of Silicon crystal quality to CZ growth conditions, expertise to apply knowledge in process design. Requires knowledge in various diameter of crystal growth, a min of 150 and 200mm processes Requires knowledge in Process control, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and Issue solving Requires knowledge of materials properties and interaction in a crystal grower Detail knowledge of crucible requirements and various graphite material grades and composite in CZ furnace that impact performance and quality Expertise to design and develop HZs for a CZ crystal grower Expertise to analysis real time data, parametric, and nonparametric data to relay details Basic understanding of PLC, OPI (operator interface), PID, and the interaction to process recipe and parameters Required skills: Knowledge in Silicon defect dynamics Knowledge in Magnet fields impact of Crystal growth Knowledge of vacuum integrity Knowledge of mechanical systems of a crystal grower Knowledge of electrical systems of a crystal grower Expertise to utilize computer applications such as; Microsoft word processing, Spreadsheets, Internet software, E-mail, Manufacturing software, and Database software Excellent benefits!
