Description:
Kelly Financial Resources is currently recruiting a Cost Accountant for a direct hire position in the East side of Cleveland. Responsibilities:· Provide financial reporting analysis for the production plants· Collaborate closely with other members of the operations management team to problem solve operational financial issues· Take initiative to go out on the manufacturing floor to identify potential issues or to research and resolve existing problems.· Make recommendations on key improvement initiatives and cost savings to varying levels of management without having direct authorityQualifications:· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance· 3-5yrs Accounting background· Knowledge, understanding and demonstrated ability in cost accounting and cost drivers in a manufacturing environment· Strong people skills in engaging with other and learning their area of business· Effective communication abilities both written and verbal in working with and explaining financial data to employees at a variety of levels in the organization· Expertise to work in teams as a leader and as a member· Background in working with ERP packages· Strong issue solving skills to gather data from multiple sources and report findings· Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Products: Ms excel, Microsoft word and PowerPoint· Expertise to take initiative and work independentlyThis position will be paying $55,000-65,000 based on background. This is a direct hire position so you will not be working as a contractor or a "temp" for any length of time. You will be hired directly onto our client's payroll.
