The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in private equity fund formation and related fund operational matters.Duties:Provide legal counsel and support to clients in private equity fund formation processes.Draft and review fund formation documents, including limited partnership agreements, subscription agreements, and offering memoranda.Advise clients on regulatory compliance and securities laws affecting investment funds.Conduct due diligence reviews and analysis for fund investments and transactions.Assist in negotiating and structuring fund agreements and transactions.Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient and effective client service.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC, or eligibility for admission through waiver or reciprocity.Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing corporate law, focusing on private equity fund formation.Strong understanding of investment fund structures, regulations, and industry best practices.Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Bar in Washington, DC, or eligibility for admission through waiver or reciprocity.Skills:Proficiency in drafting legal documents and agreements.Knowledge of securities laws and regulations related to investment funds.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
