Job Duties• Prepare and cook food items. • Ensure all dishes and recipes are made to standard. • Instruct kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food. • Supervise and train kitchen staff. • Help manage kitchen operations and the opening and closing duties of kitchen. • Maintain and replenish inventory of food as needed. • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Employment Requirements• At least six (6) months of professional cooking experience. • Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and perform well under pressure. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. • English language ability. Job Details• $16.65 per hour plus gratuities. • Full-time (30-35 hours per week). • Permanent position. • Fast-paced restaurant environment. • Physically demanding position. • Day, evening, night and weekend shifts.
