• Employer Name: Restaurant Big Bowl Ltd. o/a Big Bowl• Job title: Cook Ethnic Foods (Japanese Cuisine) (NOC: 63200) • Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-Time Position • Wage: $14.75-15.00 per hour • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week • Vacancy(s): 1 • Vacation: Remuneration - 4% of gross salary • Location: 331 Elmwood Drive, Moncton, NB E1A 3Y1• Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook traditional style Japanese dishes and side dishes from the menu - Create high quality Japanese dishes including roll, Sushi, Maki, Sources and so on. - Prepare special dishes for customers with food allergies or in tolerances- Manage kitchen operations- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment- Check the quality of raw and cooked products- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment- Estimate expected food consumption and order ingredients/supplies- Clean and inspect kitchen and work areas- Oversee kitchen operations • Education: Academic: Secondary school graduation certificate required • Experience: 1 year of related cooking experience is required • Flexible work shift: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, shift, Flexible hours • Work Conditions and Personal Suitability: Fast-paced environment, Client Focus, Flexibility Organized, Reliability • Apply via Email: Please send your resume at xyz X@ Restaurant Big Bowl Ltd. o/a Big Bowl hires on the basis of merit and is committed to employment equity.
