Description:
Position summary We are a leading oil and gas operator are currently looking to recruit a Contracts Administrator on a permanent basis. The project are in various stages including engineering and design, procurement and construction so you will have exposure to a variety of supply management activities for contract values up to $500 million. Essential responsibilities Working in a matrix organizational setting, you will support specific project teams to ensure that their contracts and procurement needs are met while remaining in compliance with company policies and procedures. Develop strategies to obtain best value for the goods and services Complete the acquisition process on time and on budget Administer contracts effectively: Perform variations and contractual amendments. Prepare general correspondence for EPC contractors Verify contract application terms, specifications and conditions. Gather contracts, reports and certificates punctually and resourcefully. Create all hard copy contractual collateral and material. Coordinate and assist with the facilitation of contract execution and thereafter maintenance. Ensure all agreed schedules and deadlines are adhered to by Contractors Recommend initiatives for improving processes to expedite contractual material more effectively and promptly Track expenditure; identify and report discrepancies and process re-submissions for increased approvals Develop and execute administrative routines that align with the project's procedures, goals and objectives Communicate with PMT on project contract administration and subcontracting activities, progress and issues Manage the Contract Close-Out Activity in a timely manner Lead or participate in negotiations to resolve commercial and technical exceptions, change orders and claims Provide ability on contracting and procurement matters Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders to address their needs for info and input Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure a strong supply base is available for goods/services Contribute to Supply Management continuous improvement initiatives
