Complaints Handler Strawberry Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hybrid working Permanent, Full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday Salary £24,750 pa, with great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong As a Complaints Handler within the wider Complaints Team, you will be responsible for case managing and investigating customer complaints. This will include prioritising, and coordinating resolution activities within the timeframes set out in the Housing Ombudsman's Complaint Handling Code. You’ll be accountable for all customer contact throughout a stage 1 complaint and ensure accurate and quality record keeping. You will play a key role in ensuring policy, process, and regulations are followed, ensuring you provide a professional thorough response to complaints, and collaborating with business experts to get the best outcomes for our customers. Typical day as a Complaints Handler Case manage and thoroughly investigate customer complaints. Be accountable for all customer contact throughout a stage 1 complaint. Build and monitor action plans for customer completions or escalation if/when appropriate. Build relationships with key stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes. No two days are ever the same…. You have Experience in complaints management Excellent communication skills including accurate clear written skills and good telephone skills. An understanding/experience of the Housing Ombudsman Service The ability and confidence to liaise with senior leaders and influence key stakeholders.
