As a Community Manager you are responsible for contributing and designing an effective community strategy and content calendar in a digital ecosystem that enables Rodales to meet our business objectives. Responsibilities: Contribute to the development an overall external communications strategy utilizing digital communications and social media for the Rodales brand Develop a digital communications plan that drives traffic to and promotes usage of client/brand channels and other properties, including ways to engage the community (public) and media with proactive message delivery facilitate communications between internal brand teams and agency partners Plan messaging strategies across multiple platforms Work in unison with other Rodales team members: Content Director and content team, Merchandising, PR, and Marketing teams Serve as a social media consultant for internal teams Develop regular community monitoring and measurement reports including traffic and engagement of brand pages and on-line channels, current content audit results and best practices and ideas Evaluate, draw insights from, and make optimization recommendations regarding the use of social media, including social media channels, web sites, blogs, wikis, media-sharing and other micromedia, as appropriate Coordinate with internal and external teams to develop and execute digital communications strategies that support the brands business and brand objectives while supporting customer communication. This could include, but not be limited to, use of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Tumblr, blogs and wikis. In addition, identify appropriate partners to help facilitate non-traditional communication of messages and causes. Provide appropriate research, analysis and tracking/measurement guidelines regarding digital communications/social media Maintain the integrity and identity of the brand by developing and/or reviewing/editing various content materials Perform other duties in alignment with the internal Rodales teams as assigned
