KyUMH is an Equal Opportunity Employer About the position: Classification: Exempt Status: Full-time Hours: Full Time. On call required Division/Department: Community Services Primary Shift: First Reports to: Executive Director of Programs and Services, Nicholasville Campus The Clinical Director salary starts at $64K, based on experience. The Clinical Director of the Community-Based and Outpatient Behavioral Health Program assures that all Methodist Home programming practices are appropriately implemented and marketed. The Clinical Director is responsible for leading of a team of clinical staff who provide integrated, community-based behavioral health treatment services with resources and interventions designed to treat mental health and substance abuse disorders. The client population served by the program is comprised primarily of adolescents, young adults, and families who experience barriers to services due to a variety of socioeconomic and geographic constraints. Services should heighten functioning for the individual, family, and community through the provision of quality treatment services. The Clinical Director collaborates with agency leadership and program staff in developing and implementing a fiscally sustainable model for service delivery and ensures services are provided in compliance with all applicable directives, including but not limited to all current and thereafter amended federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations required under this position. Job Specifications Must be at least 21 years old Must have a valid driver’s license and submit to an intensive background investigation. Receives training and certification in CPR and First Aid, provided by KYUMH. Remains current. Must have a Master’s Degree in a human services field and a minimum of three years post-graduate experience in supervising treatment of children with emotional/behavioral problems. Must also have 2 years of experience post-licensure. Demonstrated strength in management/supervision of staff. Must be independently licensed as one of the following: licensed clinical social worker; licensed professional clinical counselor; licensed marriage and family therapist; licensed psychologist; licensed psychological practitioner; or certified psychologist with autonomous functioning. Preferred candidates will be qualified as a CADC or LCADC and possess the training and experience requirements necessary to fulfill the role of AODE clinical services supervisor; or possess the alternative training and experience necessary to fulfill AODE clinical services supervisor requirements. Maintains appropriate amount and quality of training per policy and according to licensing regulations The candidate must possess knowledge of the specific requirements of his/her licensing body including renewal requirements and maintain them appropriately Must stay current with the CEU’s (continuing education units) of the respective field.
