Are you looking for an enhancement in your security career? Securiguard Services is looking for a security guard for our communication center in Alliston. The Communication Center monitors a variety of systems, which are particular to the site. The candidate must be available for all shift time including days and nights, as this is a continental rotational shift. Our mission is to empower people and organizations to make a difference and realize their potential. In this position, you will have all the tools necessary to grow with our organization and within your own career. T he successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: Valid Security Guard License Valid First Aid / CPR certificate Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time Strong and clear communication skills, both verbal and written Basic computer skills Their own transportation to the site Duties and Responsibilities are listed, but not limited to the following: Monitor security access system, fire system, and environmental system at the Communication Center and respond to priority alarms and alert Facilities staff via radio Coordination of emergency response, monitor response where possible via radio, CCTV or other means and other supplemental responders as directed or perceived to be necessary Document all emergency response activities via Emergency Check sheets and incident report Assist in the maintenance of all site emergency and non-emergency phone numbers, emergency contact lists and emergency access lists. Carry out various administrative duties to ensure efficiency and effectiveness throughout the department for auditing purposes.
